PHBench is a research project run by Vela Partners: an open benchmark, weekly predictions and free tools for Product Hunt launches. This page describes exactly what we collect, who else sees it, and how to get rid of it.
The free tools need no account. The rank predictor runs in your browser, so what you enter about your launch stays on your device. We do not collect payment details, sell data, or run advertising trackers.
Until October 2026 PHBench ran a launch simulator with sign-in. It is now closed. If you used it, your account (email, and name and picture if you signed in with Google) is kept until you ask us to delete it. Your simulator conversations, which were processed by Google’s Gemini API, are kept for up to 24 months, after which we delete them or strip anything identifying.
Email hello@phbench.com and we will delete everything we hold about you. Unsubscribing from the newsletter is a link at the bottom of every issue.
None. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, which is why there is no cookie banner.
PHBench publishes academic research on public Product Hunt launch data. If we ever publish anything derived from site activity, it will be aggregate and non-identifying.
